Auction 68

With a shortage of New Jersey auctions, it was great to see Best Auctions run another show before Christmas. The pinball count was 27 and the video count was 26 which was rather high for this auction as its normal mission statement focuses on pinball. In the very nice area was a Star Wars (Data East) and a Royal Rumble that looked near new. The souring note (as raved on by the pinball newsgroups) was the fact that Bob Borden (local operator with deep pockets) showed up and out bid everyone on there Christmas gifts. Word on the street is that if this keeps up auction attendance will be dropping as the chance of getting a game are slim when the big boys show. I guess the $1800 Getaway paints the picture of how it went. On with the auction prices……

Thanks
