Auction 24
I find it hard to believe that Super auction would make the same mistake two years in a row. This past auction here in Mount Holly, was held the same weekend as the big pinball show in Allentown PA. Allentown is only a 1 ˝ hour ride from my house as is travel time to the auction but I chose the auction path. As you can see from the pictures to the left, the turn out of people was low but the turn out on the equipment side was pitiful unlike the previous SA shows held the previous year during the Allentown Pin show where the people count was low but the selection of machines was much better. I was also disappointed with the overall price structure at this show as I felt the machines in their offered condition went for more then I would pay. O well. The auction was over in 2 ˝ hours including EVERYTHING. There was a few collections of board and a better then average set of Neon Signs. Bill; changers were on sale going for $5 each. I bought the Berzerk machine that was converted to Kung Fu Master and then spent the reset of the afternoon playing Zookeeper and testing my Blaster boards at fellow collector Steve Zeuner’s house. Next auction is 5-20!
